Project Background

FABMISR is one of Egypt’s leading financial institutions, dedicated to delivering world-class banking services and maintaining robust digital infrastructure. With heightened demands for digital banking and continuous 24/7 operations, the data center supporting this operation required a comprehensive upgrade, one that went beyond individual solutions and into fully integrated infrastructure.

El Sewedy Digital, chosen for its excellence in modular and high-density data center solutions, led the initiative. Capital Guard was engaged to supply, integrate, and commission the mission-critical subsystems that power confidence in operations, from surveillance to fire protection to access control and DCIM Solutions.

Our Scope of Work

Working closely with El Sewedy Digital, Capital Guard supplied and integrated the following systems for the FABMISR Primary Data Center:

• Surveillance & Video Management: A full solution featuring Illustra cameras by Tyco and American Dynamics Video Management Software , delivering high-resolution, mission-critical visibility throughout the facility.

• Clean Agent Fire Suppression: For the bank’s sensitive equipment areas, we supplied an Hygood FM-200 system by Johnson Control Fire Suppression, providing rapid, clean-agent first response to fire events.

• Access Control & Early Detection: We deployed a fully integrated access control system using Kantech controllers (by Tyco) integrated with VESDA air-sampling detectors (by Xtralis), enabling ultra-early smoke detection and secured door access across the site.

• Infrastructure Monitoring – DCIM: To give FABMISR operational transparency, we configured the Eaton Brightlayer DCIM platform , supporting real-time monitoring of power, cooling, space and assets within the data center.

• Unified Security Platform: All systems were delivered under one unified software platform, ensuring that surveillance, fire protection, access control and infrastructure monitoring operate in concert. This drives faster incident response, simplified operations, and seamless data flow.

• End-to-End Collaboration: From system design through final commissioning and maintenance, Capital Guard collaborated hand-in-hand with El Sewedy Digital to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with FABMISR’s strategic infrastructure goals.
